Before becoming Pure Athletex’s tallest coach and the Director of Pure Hoops Academy, Andrew played for Grove City College for 4 years, then shifted from player to coach at GCC!  Andrew’s completed almost 2 years of player development, and has coached & refined multiple D2 & D3 all-conference players. Now, he works deligently to shape our PHA training sessions for careful development of upcoming and existing basketball players. 

When Andrew is not planning the ways to change the lives of young athletes, you can find him playing pickleball, golfing, or spending time with his family. Whether here at Pure or at home, you can often find him jamming out to some country music!

 

Before joining his cousin, Andrew, in 2023 to help shape our basketball academy, Jason played basketball in college and spent 2.5 years in France playing basketball professionally. Nowadays, you still might catch him in a men's league or two, if you're lucky. 

Jason's energy is unmatched which may have something to do with one of his favorite things - good coffee! If you're looking for a coach to challenge you every day of the week, Jason is your guy. You will not walk away from one of his weightroom or basketball sessions with much energy, but Jason sure will! We have yet to discover how he does it.
